Filler: Mason and Haywood

Sorry, no Hamstructo strip today. The weekend snuck up on me and the strip I have half penciled in has a lot of detail on it. On top of that, I’ve got some Numerical Analysis homework to catch up on.

SO, in place of a brand new Hamstructo strip, here’s a prototype of a comic I thought up a while back. The protagonist, Mason, is a 9-year-old with cancer. He spends most of his time in the hospital, but possesses a healthier attitude than all the other “sick” people there.

The old guy is Haywood, a guy who takes everything for granted and refuses to enjoy himself. He’s based on my dad.

I’m not too sure about this one. I love the premise, but right now, it’s a little too Calvin and Hobbs. I’ll work on it more when I have some time.

Enjoy your week everybody. Hamstructo will be back next Friday.
